What KIT is
KIT helps crew organize personal journey information and share an appropriate read-only view with people they trust. It also provides private crew-connection and nearby-planning features.
Information KIT may process
- Account and profile information supplied by the user.
- Roster, duty, route and journey information imported or entered by the crew member.
- Family invitations, access permissions and linked crew spaces.
- Crew Circle and Nearby choices, event responses and text messages.
- Device, security and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
- Approximate or precise location only when a feature requires it and the user grants permission.
Why it is used
Information is used to provide requested features, keep accounts secure, deliver chosen notifications, prevent abuse, improve reliability and comply with applicable law.
Sharing and service providers
KIT does not make a crew member’s roster publicly searchable. Data may be handled by carefully selected hosting, mapping, weather, aviation-data, email and notification providers only as needed to operate the service.
Retention and control
Information is retained only for as long as it is needed for the service, security, legal obligations or a legitimate unresolved request. Users may update privacy choices, revoke family access and request account deletion.
Children
KIT is not designed for use by children as independent account holders. Age eligibility and family-access requirements will be finalized before release.
